Our first full day without Live365

Mixed feelings today.  It is our first full day without Live365 and I am amazed, a bit concerned and also honestly, kinda sad about the number of listeners we have.  When we moved the station we signed up for a plan that allowed a lot less listeners and total listening hours than we had with Live365.  As of now we can have no more than 25 listeners at a time.  We have maxed out at that number several times today.  We can not have more than 4K total listening hours a month with the current pricing plan.  The next plan is 7K. On live365 we averaged between 6-7K as our highest.
It would be dishonest to say I am not excited about more listeners.  Of course I am. Who wouldn't be?  No one starts a radio station not wanting it to be popular or heard.  Yet there is still a sadness knowing why we have more - because some other stations had to close.  If I could give turn back the clock.  If I could hand back the new listeners and bring the other stations back I would.  If I could make this country more internet radio friendly I would in a heartbeat.  Other than asking all of you to please sign the petition - there isn't  much I can do.
I also hate the thought of people trying to listen and not being able to get in.  That is frustrating.  I feel like Ian and I can not even listen because we are taking a spot from someone else!  That's not right!  Therefore we are going to watch our listening hours and total number of listeners very closely this week and maybe next as well to gauge how things go.  We have a few ideas on how to free up some more money so we can expand the number of listeners we can have as well as total monthly listening hours.  it would mean downsizing something else even more, giving up a bit of extras, but we are willing to do it.  It would mean we go from 25 total listeners at a time to 50.  From 4K total listening hours a  month to 7K - but that is as much as we can possibly do.   Beyond that is out of our means.
Please help us know what is going on with  you - our listeners.  Are you having a hard time listening?  If so how many tries did it take before you could get in?  What time of day did you have a hard time getting logged onto the station? What format are you listening through (directly from our website, shoutcast,  stream licensing smart phone app or another way).  Please bear with us while we try to get through these growing pains and move forward.

Live365 might not be part of your everyday routine anymore, but I am pretty sure that you will be able to move on from this as soon as possible, I believe in that! You feel sad, and it's normal because it just happened. Live365 made a huge impact in your lives, but there are just things that we cannot explain yet we needed to do just because that's the right to do. We don't need to know everything, we just have to understand it.
